New Delhi: Modi government’s MyGov app has launched a new service on its WhatsApp chatbot. Users will now be able to access a list of important documents on WhatsApp. The latest feature allows users to use MyGov Helpdesk on WhatsApp to access the new Digilocker service. Here are the documents that users can download through the Digilocker service on WhatsApp

  • PAN card
  • Driver’s license
  • CBSE Class X Certificate of Achievement
  • Vehicle registration certificate (RC)
  • Insurance policy – Two-wheelers
  • Class X mark sheet
  • Class XII score sheet

MyGov Helpdesk on WhatsApp will now offer a suite of services for integrated citizen assistance. The helpdesk started by offering Digilocker services. For the convenience of users, we have mentioned the steps through which users can get documents from Digilocker on WhatsApp

  1. Create a Digilocker account
  2. Get access to the new MyGov chatbot by texting ‘Namaste’ or ‘Hi’ or ‘Digilocker’ to WhatsApp number +91 9013151515
  3. “Digilocker”, you will receive a response stating “Welcome to DigiLocker services to upload/issue your documents”
  4. The user will be asked about the Digilocker account. If you have a Digilocker account, it will ask the user to enter their Aadhar number
  5. An OTP on your registered mobile device
  6. Once you enter the OTP, you will be able to download all documents or any document available in your Digilocker account
