New Orleans man arrested for falsifying driving school certificates

Louisiana State Police detectives arrested a New Orleans man for submitting fake driving school certificates to the Louisiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles. used to qualify for a driver’s license. According to police, Martin operated a business named “Professional Legal Services” out of an office in Gretna, and after executing a search warrant at the office, detectives obtained several items consistent with fabricating fraudulent documents. Detectives obtained a warrant for Martin’s arrest charging him with 211 counts of forgery and committed him to Jefferson Parish Correctional Facility.

Louisiana State Police detectives have arrested a New Orleans man for submitting fake driving school certificates to the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles.

In March 2021, LSP detectives said they began investigating Prentiss Martin, 56, of New Orleans, after the fraudulent certificates were used to qualify for a driver’s license .

According to police, Martin operated a business named “Professional Legal Services” out of an office in Gretna, and after executing a search warrant at the office, detectives obtained several items consistent with fabricating fraudulent documents.
