A gutted Ferrari owner crashed his brand new £250,000 supercar the same day he bought it – after driving just two miles.
The luxury engine, believed to be a Ferrari 488, was involved in the costly crash earlier today.
Photos shared by police show the crumpled front bonnet with stripes across the front of the flashy red sports car.
The driver, who was not injured, had to count the cost after his pride and joy were involved in the collision shortly after buying the car from Derby.

Netizens reacted on social media with one person writing “OH NO!! Hurt” while another said, “You would be completely gutted.”
Another commented: “I’m taking it because the car is the wrong way. He gave it a little too much gas?”
One person said: “FFS, what was he doing? Is he even allowed to drive?”
Another added: “Bugger. How mortified would you be. This is going to take a while.”
And another said: ‘Good to hear no injuries but maybe too much power for this rider and looks like he’s April Fools for crashing’
