Abbie Quinnen hit a “massive” milestone in her life on Wednesday as she got behind the wheel of a car for her “first driving lesson”.

The 24-year-old cut a sleek figure as she showed off her toned midriff in a brown v-neck crop top and black wide leg jeans.

The pro dancer styled her stunning blonde tresses in loose ringlets as they cascaded down her back as she headed to her lesson in white Nike sneakers.

Abbie was spotted rocking a pair of glasses as she prepared to get behind the wheel after being in a car accident aged 19.

Taking to Instagram, the beauty told her 88.2 thousand followers that she had been delaying getting her license for many years.

She said: ‘Today is a huge day for me, it’s my very first driving lesson. I know that I am almost 25 years old and have never taken a driving course.

She continued: “I feel like I have an excuse because I went to dance school in London when I was 11, then university in London, then went to cruise.

“I kind of postponed it because I had a car accident when I was 19 and now every time I’m in a car I’m super super freaked out.”

Abbie looked radiant as she opted for a face full of glam makeup as she revealed the news to fans.

She seemed in good spirits as she signed, adding: “So yeah, I’m nervous but I’ll let you know how it goes, wish me luck.”

She suffered third-degree burns to her face, neck, shoulder and arm. She also lost part of her ear and a lock of hair to the engulfing flames.

In an interview last week with Christine Lampard, Abbie explained how embarrassed she felt, saying: ‘The burns unit looked after me so well.

“I felt like I looked horrible and if AJ or my family saw me it would break their hearts. I was embarrassed about my appearance. It was a lot of trauma”.

Abbie then explained how she and AJ went to therapy, she explained: “I finally accepted the offer of therapy. AJ has it too.

“He was trying to be strong but he would leave the room and cry and once I found him crying hysterically on the sofa. I did not know what to do’.

Over the past year, Abbie has undergone several skin grafts and is becoming increasingly positive.
